Mistletoe Farm is a Holistic Equine Centre in South Somerset. It was established in 2002 by owner Sandra Reeves. It is in a peaceful location on the edge of the Blackdown Hills where horses and owners alike enjoy the relaxed, healing atmosphere.
Sandra is an extremely experienced horse woman who has a passion and genuine love of horses. She is very much motivated into healing sick and problem horses and getting them back into active / competition work.
The horses are kept as near to nature as possible and treated with a wide range of holistic remedies and treatments.
We treat horses suffering from a wide range of physical, emotional and behavioural problems, some for whom modern drug therapy has failed. Horses can be treated at a distance, whereby the owner sends a lock of their horse's mane or tail for Kinesiology analysis and is then advised on the appropriate holistic remedies and guided through a treatment regime. Alternatively, horses can become resident and enjoy the hands on healing; there are two services available for this: "Livery" or "Horses as Gifts" (which is more suited to horses with chronic problems).
Although professionally run, Mistletoe Farm is a small, friendly yard. Horses enjoy the peaceful, healing atmosphere and are kept as near to nature as possible. Every care and attention is taken 24 hours a day and owners are kept well informed of their horse's progress. Horses benefit from daily holistic treatments and remedies. Horses also receive training / exercise / posture re-education etc as appropriate.
